As with all sports, speed and agility is most often the difference maker. Some believe you can’t teach speed but, at F5 we know you can teach speed! Just like technology, athlete training is always evolving. Our speed and agility program is centered around the philosophy of proper fundamentals and technique. Our program will teach you how to get your body in the proper position and how to get it to react adequately. This alone makes an athlete faster, or as we say, more efficient. The components of our program are: foot quickness, lateral movements (agility), power, balance, reaction, and of course speed. Indirectly, these training components make the athletes faster, quicker, and more explosive. |
